Alphabet K - Bubble Baths

 
After a long day at work, Kame slipped into the bathtub. It was one of the luxuries he got for himself when he bought this new apartment.

 
He felt the tired muscles in his body relax, coaxed by the warm water enveloping him. He knew he loved to perform, but during the most hectic times, he would find himself asking if it was worth it.

 
His answer every time? It’s all worth it for the bubble bath at the end of the day.

 
Slipping lower into the tub, Kame scooped up a handful of bubbles and blew them into the air. He giggled when some landed on his nose.

 
The guys will never let me live this down if they ever saw me like this.

 
Somewhere in the other room, his cellphone began ringing. Kame perked up.

 
YOU, answer the phone, repeated itself over and over again.

 
Kame paid it no heed, slipping back into the tub. Johnny-san can wait until he ran out of bubbles. No one, not even the president of Johnny’s Jimusho, is allowed to interrupt Bubbletime.
