Pairing: Akame and appearances by many other Johnny’s
Rating: Safe, for now
Summary: High school AU. Soccer Captain Akanishi Jin finds his peaceful high school life constantly thrown off balance by a certain baseball Captain Kamenashi Kazuya.
Disclaimer: My name is not Kitagawa Johnny. Therefore, I own nothing related to Johnny’s Entertainment or its pretty boys.
A/N: I’m toying with the idea of making this into a multi-chapter fic. So, here’s the prologue. Tell me if it’s worth it to make it into multi-chapter?
“Come on. Move those elephant legs! You run slower than my grandmother’s turtle!” Akanishi Jin hollered at the soccer players dashing back and forth on the school field.
Akanishi Jin, star striker and captain of Kitagawa High’s soccer team. He broke the school’s record by being the first 2nd year to become captain of a team. Usually only 3rd year students get to become captains, after they’ve proven their commitment and worth to the school. This record, however, was broken 2 months ago when a 1st year became the captain of the baseball team. Said captain of the baseball team also has a large fanbase that rivals or may even surpass Akanishi’s fans.
“Your time’s up. Get your boys off the field. NOW.” A less than pleased voice causes him to silently groan and turn around to face the captain of the baseball team, Kamenashi Kazuya.
“I’ve still got 5 minutes, Kamenashi. Wait your turn like everyone else.” Jin scowled at the shorter boy.
“My watch says it’s 6.01pm already. You’ve overstayed by 1 minute. Move,” Kamenashi said calmly, glancing at his watch and tapping his shoulder lightly with his bat.
“Well, my watch says it’s 5.46pm. So I still have 4 minutes. And watch how you speak to your senpai, 1st year,” Akanishi retorted, turning back to his players and effectively ignoring the glaring Kamenashi.
“Childish, inconsiderate, rude, balls-for-brains, idiot…” Kamenashi began muttering under his breath at Akanishi.
“Watch your mouth, or I’ll shut it permanently for you,” Akanishi threatened, spinning around and grabbing the younger boy by the collar.
Not one to run from a fight, Kamenashi returned the favor and grabbed Akanishi’s collar and brought them to an eye-to-eye level dead stare.
“ITEE!” both of them yelped as their heads jerked forwards and their foreheads slammed together.
Spinning around to face his attacker, Kamenashi came face to face with his coach. “Koichi-sensei? What did you hit my head for?” he whined, rubbing his forehead.
“Oi, what the hell was that for, Nagase?” Akanishi glared at his coach.
“Tsk tsk. Watch your mouth, you runt. It’s Nagase-sensei to you,” Nagase Tomoya said, giving Akanishi’s head another smack for good measure.
“Both of you better get along or you’re suspended from the coming Inter-High school games,” Domoto Koichi threatened.
Both boys opened their mouths.
“And, no protesting! This is Principal Kitagawa’s decision. Mary-san won’t stand to have delinquents in representing her school, no matter how valuable you are to your teams. Really, the both of you make it seem like an every day ritual to beat each other up.”
Akanishi and Kamenashi exchanged scowls but held their tongues.
“Ahahaha… Well, boys will always be boys, no? Don’t worry so much, Koichi-kun. I’m sure they’ve learned their lesson. Haven’t you, boys?” an elderly man said, putting a hand on each boy’s shoulder.
“Hai, Johnny-san.” Kamenashi said while Akanishi just grunted in response.
“Well, then. To make sure you keep your promise to get along, I’d like you boys to clean up the 1st and 2nd year classrooms today.”
“EEEEEH?! WITH HIM?!” Akanishi and Kamenashi exclaimed at once, each pointing to the other.
