Disclaimer: Do I look like a very rich old man who owns an entire agency of young, shiny, sparkly and ghei pretty boys? The answer is no.

A/N: A very quick drabble that I couldn’t get out of my head.

I’ve been staring at the same fish swim back and forth for the umpteenth time. Even Kenshiro has decided to abandon me to my endless boredom.

Maybe I should start counting the scales on the fish. I think I stopped at 2,538 for the arowana in the main tank.

I think I just heard the front door! Daddy’s home?!

“Tadaima!”

Daddy’s really home! I quickly glance at the clock. 11.30pm. Daddy must have done a fantastic job if they let him come home so early.

I hear Daddy take off his shoes. The soft pattering of Daddy’s socks on the wood floor follows. Seconds later, Daddy comes into view.

Okaeri, Daddy!

He looks tired, but then again, it’s been four years since he’s acted in a drama. On top of that, he has to cope with the promotional appearances on TV and practice for the upcoming tour. Poor Daddy!

Kenshiro bounces over and Daddy plays with him for a while. Oh, how I wish I was living. Then Daddy could play with me like he does with Kenshiro.

With Kenshiro satisfied, Daddy heads off to the kitchen for a drink of water. I wait patiently on the sofa.

Daddy comes back into the living room, turning the TV on. Some variety program is on.

Daddy comes over and picks me up. Finally!

Daddy hugs me and twiddles the feathers on my head for a bit.

Hehehe… That tickles, Daddy!

“Ne, Sankaku,” Daddy starts. As always, I listen patiently as he tells me about his day. How he’s happy to be acting again, but how he wishes the script would let him challenge his acting skills more.

He then talks about popping over to the Jimusho during lunchtime. He was looking for someone, but that someone was not there. Maybe it’s Daddy’s best friend, Okada-kun.

I like Okada-kun. The first time we met… or rather, the first time he saw me, he mentioned to Daddy how absolutely alike we are. Okada-kun said that I’m all soft and poofy like Daddy. But of course! I’m a plush toy, aren’t I?

Daddy made a face and told Okada-kun not to hint about him being fat. Oh, how silly of Daddy. He should be happy he’s as cute as me. Everyone likes a soft and poofy Daddy!

Daddy’s about to tell me more about his day when He appears on the TV screen. I don’t like him. Daddy always ignores me when He’s around.

Just like how Daddy’s ignoring me now. Daddy’s completely focused on the TV. He’s doing something silly, and the guests and audience are having a good laugh at his expense.

Oh, look! Daddy’s on TV too. I can see that Daddy’s trying really hard not to laugh. I look over at Daddy, and he has that small smile on his face.

I’ve known Daddy all my life. He shares his dreams with me. He tells me his fears. He calls me his little triangle of inspiration.

But, nothing I do, nothing I am, is as important to Daddy as He is. Because He’s the only person in the world who can make Daddy smile like that, like nothing else matters.

So I guess pretty much everyone can guess who He is Hai, oppappi! (^__~)

I’m not sure how this turned out. It’s just something I needed to get out of my head. Sorry if this doesn’t make sense to you ^^;
 

Hahaha... I said I would be away for a few weeks? Scratch that.
When my aikata heard that I was going to stop posting KinKi fics for a few weeks, well, all Hell kinda broke loose ^^;
Tsuyo-chan is scary *shivers but keeps a wary eye on aikata*
So I'll be around for another few weeks (^_^)
